Badrinath (Telugu: బద్రినాథ్) is a 2011 Telugu action film directed by V. V. Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind. The film stars Allu Arjun, Tamannaah Bhatia and Prakash Raj. It released on June 10, 2011 simultaneously in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil with scenes of Santhanam added to the Tamil version. It released to mixed reviews from viewers and critics, but had a huge opening.

Plot
Badrinath (Allu Arjun) is groomed by Guru Bhishma Narayan (Prakash Raj) to protect the Badrinath temple, where Maha Vishnu is the presiding deity. Into that temple walks Alaka Nanda (Tamannah) who, due to circumstances, becomes a staunch agnostic. Badri converts her into a believer and in the process, without him being aware, becomes the object of her affection. Nanda's love for Badri causes a conflict in the mind of his Guru who begins to doubt him.[2]Cast

Pre-release records
Badrinath is said to be the costliest film in Telugu cinema.[3] It is the only Telugu movie to be releasing simultaneously in two languages.[4] The Distribution Rights of Badrinath were being sold for huge prices globally. Karnataka distribution rights were sold for Rs. 6 Crores.[5] Kerala distribution rights sold for Rs 1.10 Crore. The film received A certificate from Local Censor Board.[6] The movie got good pre-release talk from media and websites[7] The movie is expected to screen in 1400 theaters and around 5700 shows on first day of release.[8]Soundtrack
